Mubasher – Cairo: Egypt’s government decided Tuesday to cancel temporary tariffs imposed on white sugar imports, according to the official gazette.

In mid-April, 2015, the Ministry of Trade and Industry issued resolution No. 288/2015 imposing “safeguard tariffs” on sugar imports at 20% of their value, at a minimum charge of EGP 700 per tonne.
