Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development is set to launch a number of projects in North and South Sinai worth EGP 312.5 million.

Minister of International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr, earlier inked 10 agreements and memorandum of understandings with Saudi Development Fund for developing projects to finance new for developing projects in the Sinai Peninsula.

Mohammed Nasser, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, said that projects planned to be inaugurated during the celebrations of Sinai Liberation Day on 25 April in South Sinai are constructing and paving Al Karama- El Merayyah road, Bear el abd, at a cost of EGP 3.4 million.

The project also includes 45 bedouin houses worth EGP 7.9 million and 360 residential units within the social housing projects in El Arish at a cost of EFP 50 million, he added.
