Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market ended Tuesday’s session rising 0.83% or 44.57 points.
The weighted index leveled up 0.35% or 1.28 points to reach 365.3 points, and Kuwait-15 edged up 0.39% or 3.3 points to settle at 859.51 points.
Today’s turnover increased by 10.8% to KWD 12.88 million, while trading volume shrank by 14% to 150.27 million shares.
The technology sector topped the gainers by 3.04%. The industrial sector rose by 1.03%, backed by Gulf Cable which rose by 7.14% after the company announced its Q1 financials.
Moreover, the real estate sector leveled up 0.96%, after 12 stocks closed in the green zone, enhanced by the 9.3% growth of Mena Real Estate which was the top winner.
RAK White Cement headed the losers by a decrease of 6.06% or 6 fils to 93 fils.
Sukuk was the most active stock on which 11.08 million shares were exchanged with a value wroth around KWD 447,800. The stock gained 1.27%.
NBK recorded the highest turnover which exceeded KWD 1.6 million, as 2.5 million shares were traded. The stock settled at 660 fils.
