Mubasher: National Gas – Oman on Sunday reported a group profit of OMR 932,500 ($2.41 million) for the first three months of 2015, up 125.6% from OMR 413,400 ($1.07 million) achieved in the same period last year.

Total group income retreated 23.2% to OMR 15.85 million in Q1-16 compared to OMR 20.64 million in the corresponding period in 2015, the company said in a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

The company attributed its profit increase to a 28.1% drop in total expenses in the three-month period to OMR 14.53 million from OMR 20.2 million in Q1-16.
