Mubasher: European stock markets saw varying performances in Monday’s early trades amid falling oil prices and Asian stocks.

FTSEurofirst 300 index shed 0.17% by 8:30am GMT, while STOXX Europe 600 slipped 0.1% to 341 points.

Germany’s DAX 30 and France’s CAC 40 indices gained 0.5% and 0.17%, respectively.

London’s FTSE is closed today, but previously ended Friday down 1.3%.

European bourses ended Friday at a collective decline.
