Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market levelled down 0.32% or 17.03 points to settle at 5,358.33 points at 10:11 am Kuwait time on Wednesday.

The weighted index retreated 0.26% or 0.94 points to reach 362.14 points, and the KSX 15 index edged down 0.20% or 1.71 points to 851.11 points.

Liquidity reached KWD 2.36 million, as trading volume stood at 26.77 million shares that were traded through 766 transactions.

The oil and gas sector topped the gainers with a 0.38% rise, while the telecom sector led the decliners after falling 0.73%.

The Energy House prevailed this morning with 8% growth, while Kuwait Finance and Investment headed the losers as it shed 6.17%.

KSE’s benchmark index has a support level at 5,375 points, which if broken below, 5,336 and 5,290 points will become the new targets, said technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun.
