Cairo-Mubasher: Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) reported a growth of 17% in the net profits of the first quarter as compared to the same quarter in 2015, the company said in a bourse statement issued Sunday.

Net profits increased to EGP 1.29 billion ($145.63 million) in Q1-16, compared to EGP 1.11 billion ($125.31 million) in Q1-15.

Revenues grew 4% YoY to EGP 2.63 billion ($296.17 million) in Q1-16.

“Deposits increased 9% in the first quarter to EGP 169 billion, with deposit market share of 8.26% as of January 2016, up from 8.12% in December 2015,” the statement added.
