Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Wednesday’s session rising 0.6% or 57.53 points to the level of 9,722.38 points.
The real estate and telecom were the best performing sectors as the grew 0.72% and 0.69% respectively, while transportation and consumer goods fell 0.43% and 0.02% respectively.
Trading volume reached 1.08 million shares exchanged through 943 trades, making a turnover of QAR 71.7 million.
Qatari German for Medical Devices topped risers with a growth of 2.13%, while Qatar Industrial Manufacturing led decliners with a 2.08% decrease.
Gulf International made the highest activity with 301,810 traded shares and a turnover of QAR 11.43 million.
