Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of Muscat Securities Market fell closed Wednesday’s session with a fall of 0.12% or 6.9 points to the level of 5,930.51 points.

Trading volume decreased 39.65% to 7.36 million shares and Turnover shrank 30.39% to OMR 2.17 million, compared to yesterday’s trading.

The industrial, financial and services sectors dropped collectively by 0.25%, 0.24% and 0.17% respectively.

United Finance was the best performer with a growth of 3.38%, whereas Voltamp Energy topped losers after falling 3.23%.

Omantel made the highest liquidity of OMR 607,470, while Bank Sohar was the largest-traded stock with 1.1 million shares.

MSM 30 declined yesterday by 0.19% or 11 points to the level of 5,937.42 points.
