Mubasher: Japanese indices initiated Friday’s trading session on a positive note.

The Nikkei index rose by 0.35% to 1,6830.50 points.

The broader Topix was 0.36% higher to 1347.68 points.  

On Thursday, Japanese indices ended the session in the green zone amid an increase in oil prices and a decline in Yen's value.
