Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Wednesday’s session in red as its benchmark MSM 30 declined 0.21% or 12.41 points to 5,826.46 points.
The Shariah index, however, rose 0.16% to the level of 886,49 points.
Trading volume reached 11.89 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.88 million.
The industrial sector rose 0.12%, while the financial sector fell 0.32% and the services sector was flat.
Al Izz Islamic Bank and Oman Fisheries topped risers by adding 1.72% and 1.67% respectively, whereas Construction Materials Industries and Ahli Bank led decliners after falling by 3.13% and 1.74% respectively.
HSBC Oman was the most active stock with a trading volume of 4.24 million shares exchanged at OMR 428,500.
