Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw gains in Monday’s early trades as the real estate and banks sector opened higher.
The main index advanced 1.18% or 37.6 points to reach 3,295.78 points by 10:35am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector topped gainers with a 1.9% growth, backed by the positive performance of Dubai Parks and Resorts.
The real estate sector added 1.5% due to a rise in Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties.
The banks sector went up 0.7%, spurred by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).
The market saw trading of 81.5 million shares through 1,190 transactions, with a turnover of AED 91.52 million.
