Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Monday’s trading at a slight gain of 0.3% or 1.61 points to the level of 5,763.82 points, while the Sharia index stood at 579.15 points.

The financial and industrial sectors grew by 0.12% and 0.76% respectively, while the services sector declined 0.06%.

Trading volume reached 41.8 million shares exchanged at OMR 7.12 million, compared to 14.8 million shares exchanged on Sunday.

Galfar Engineering topped the green list with a growth of 3.85%, while Oman and Emirates Investment Holding shrank 2.22%.

Al Batinah Power made the highest trading activity as 13.4 million shares were exchanged at OMR 2.68 million.
