Mubasher: Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings (S&P) said it expects sukuk issuances to remain weak in the coming 6 to 18 months, according to a report released on Sunday.

The sharp decline in oil prices which began in mid-2014 is likely to affect sukuk issuances, added to projections that oil prices will remain near the $50 per barrel mark by 2018, the report said.
