Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined on Sunday by 0.09% or 9.84 points to the level of 10,418.83 points.
Turnover decreased by 50% to QAR 150.28 million from QAR 300.41 million on Thursday, trading volume also shrank by 52.6% to 3.81 million shares from 8.04 million shares.
The consumer goods and services sector was the best performer after adding 0.31%, backed by the rise in Medicare and Qatari German Medical by 2.3% and 1.2% respectively.
The real estate sector also advanced by 0.06% as Mazaya Qatar and Barwa leapt by 1% and 0.3% respectively.
On the other hand, the banking sector declined by 0.45% as Ahli Bank dropped 2.24%.
Qatar Islamic Insurance topped gainers by adding 2.54%, while Doha Insurance led decliners with a fall of 4.5%.
Qatar First Bank led the trading volume activity with 370,600 traded shares, while QNB made the highest liquidity of QAR 19.81 million.
