Dubai-Mubasher: Aldar Properties awarded AED 440 million contracts to National Projects and Construction (NPC) for the development of Nareel Island and Al Merief, according to a statement.

NPC will start working on both “distinct communities” on 14 July under the 16-month period contract which covers infrastructure, utilities and public areas, in addition to associated marina works for Nareel Island.

“With the appointment of NPC, we are on track for the completion of both developments in 2017,” according to Aldar Chief Development Officer Talal Al Dhiyebi.
