Mubasher: The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) posted on Wednesday a net profit of BHD 13.96 million ($36.7 million) for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016, rising 10.4% from BHD 12.65 million ($33.3 million) posted for Q2-15.

In the first half of 2016, net profit grew 6.9% to BHD 31.72 million from BHD 29.67 million in the same period of 2015, according to a statement.

NBB earlier reported a year-on-year rise in its net profit to BHD 17.7 million for Q1-16.
