Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Thursday’s session on a positive note, ending a three-day losing streak.
The benchmark MSM 30 grew 0.02% or 1.31 point to the level of 5,818.14 points.
Trading volume reached 3.26 million shares exchanged at OMR 15.39 million through 683 transactions.
The industrial and financial sectors rose by 0.24% and 0.12% respectively, while the services sector declined by 0.38%.
Muscat Gases led decliners with a fall of 8.56%, while Al Jazeira Services topped gainers with a growth of 1.7%.
Bank Sohar made the biggest trading volume activity of 2.31 million shares, whereas Bank Muscat made the highest liquidity of OMR 716,870.
