Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) said a buy transaction worth $166.996 was carried out on the shares of Piraeus Bank Egypt (unlisted firm), under the ‘block trading’ system.

The transaction was executed on 113,603 shares in Piraeus Bank Egypt at a price of $1.47 per share.

Last November, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait acquired 98.5% of Piraeus Bank Egypt for $150 million.
