Kuwait  - Mubasher: The inflation rate in Kuwait rose 3.06% on an annual basis in June compared to the same month of 2015, according to Kuwait Central Statistical Bureau on Monday.

The consumer price index (CPI) in Kuwait edged up 0.71% in June. Five main groups rose, four remained unchanged and three declined.

The CPI of the first group (food and beverages) increased 1.2% in June on an annual basis, while it decreased 0.13% on a monthly basis.

The housing services’ price index also levelled up 7.33% on an annual basis, while it was down 1.81% on a monthly basis.
