Doha – Mubasher: Qatari Investors Group's net profits for the second quarter rose by 32.3% year-on-year to QAR 83.88 million ($23.01 million) from QAR 63.42 million ($17.4 million), according to a bourse filing.
In the first six months, the company gained QAR 158.73 million, higher 25.5% year-over-year from QAR 126.5 million.
Return on equity also increased to QAR 1.28 in the first half, compared to QAR 1.02 recorded in the year-ago period.
In the first quarter, net earnings moved up by 18.66% to QAR 74.85 million, compared to QAR 63.08 million in Q1-15.
