Mubasher: Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC) recorded a growth in the consolidated net profit of the second quarter ended 30 June, 2016 as compared to the same period in 2015.

The company’s earnings increased to BHD 5.0 million in Q2-16 from BHD 4.4 million in Q2-15, according to a bourse statement.

During the first half this year, Commercial Facilities posted an 11% rise in profits to BHD 9.4 million versus BHD 8.5 million in H1-15.

“The Company has underwritten new loans of BHD 84 million in first half of the year resulting in 11% growth in the loan portfolio,” CEO Abdulrahman Fakhro said.
