Riyadh-Mubasher: Al Hammadi Company for Development and Investment announced obtaining the required licenses to re-open Al Hammadi Olaya Hospital and will receive patients starting from Saturday, 6 August.

The financial impact of the hospital’s closure on the company's net income was estimated at SAR 20 million, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The company attributed low financial impact on the net income to the utilisation of the hospital’s medical staff in Al Hammadi Sweidi Hospital, which helped in increasing the occupancy rate over the planned one, the statement said.

In February, Al Hammadi Company announced closing Al Hammadi Olaya hospital because of an electrical contact incident in the electricity circuit breakers room at the hospital’s basement.
