Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Bahrain's Ministry of Housing announced on Wednesday that it has signed a contract worth AED 374 million ($102 million) with the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD)  for developing residential units in the North City project.

The UAE contributes AED 9.19 billion ($2.5 billion) to the North City project, an island being built in Bahrain, as part of the GCC development programme.

The AED 2.9 billion project is aiming at supporting the economic and social development in the Kingdom through establishing new cities, with the first phase includes the building of the 2,694 houses.
