Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's bourse is likely to target the mark of 8,257 points on Thursday with a possible recovery of liquidity levels and trading volumes.

On Wednesday, the main index EGX30 rebounded before reaching the minor support of 8,100 points on below average volume, according to a report by MubasherTrade Research.

On the short term, the index has thus reached to oversold areas and is ready to rise, the research agency added, recommending "trading the range" today.  

Market analyst at EGS Brokers Hoda El Menshawy said the main gauge is to re-test the mark of 8,257 points, which could open the door for further gains if broken today. 

By holding above the previous mark, the EGX30 will move inside a channel extending from 7,836 points and 8,453 points, the analyst added. 

Yesterday, the benchmark index EGX30 went up 0.46% or 37.6 points to close at 8,224.3 points.
