Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will resume imposing export duty on some kinds of scrap and junk cast iron or steel for more one year starting of 14 September 2016, said Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The decision stipulated that export duty on scrap and junk cast iron will continue at EGP 7,500 per ton for semi –raw copper and around EGP 3,000 per ton for lead.

Meanwhile, the export duty for Iron, Aluminum , Zinc, dasht paper and plastics amount to EGP 650, EGP 2,500, EGP 1,500, EGP 1,400 and EGP 1,600 per ton.
