Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) offers a new licence to provide broadband satellite services in the Kingdom.

CITC named the services that could be provided, will be broadband satellite output services, voice calls through broadband satellite and the value-added service which are related to the broadband satellite services.

The commission aims to promote competition, provide an improved communication services with reasonable prices and increase the spread of broadband services across the Kingdom, which will lead to the coverage of vast geographical areas that are cannot be reached by fixed and moving techniques.

CITC invited companies that want to get the broadband satellite services provider licence in KSA to check the commission’s website to review the conditions and requirements of the licence.
