Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum is about to finalize the development project of West Baltim and NEDECO gas fields, according to a statement on Monday.

The ministry aims at increasing the production through upgrading and drilling seven wells in these areas.

The first phase of the project is expected to produce 700 million cubic meters from NEDECO, the statement revealed, indicating that the output is planned to reach one billion cubic meters after completing all necessary operational and supply works.

Likewise, the west Baltim will see more developments to appropriately making use of the reserve there that is estimated at one trillion cubic meters.
