Mubasher: Most GCC equity markets are forecast to keep witnessing a volatile performance on Tuesday with a chance to rise on the recovery of some world markets and investors' tendency for better monthly closings, according to analysts.

Masaken Capital analyst Mohanad Oraykat said "the rebound of some global markets may lead GCC bourses to gains once again." The analyst noted that US indices reversed its losing streak on Monday after personal consumption spending rose for the fourth straight month, which suggests that US economy is rapidly growing.

Meanwhile, periods of stability in regional markets will likely be ensured, when oil prices steady above $50-52 in the coming days, market analyst Mohamed Al-Ahbaby indicated.

Economic analyst Hamoud Al-Shammari clarified that any possible rise in the coming two days is technically one-offs before the end of August and Eid Al-Adha. Therefore, he advised traders not to increase their positions until Eid Al-Adha vacation ends.

In spite of the current GCC bourses' jittery performance, portfolios, foreign ones in particular, likely to keep their appetite for selective purchasing at the present time, market analyst Amir Al-Mansoury concluded.
