Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market declined in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.14% or 8.29 points.
Trading volume reached 8.73 million shares exchanged through 254 transactions.
The industrial sector dropped 0.1%, dragged by the fall in Oman Fisheries and Oman Cement by 1.61% and 0.87% respectively.
The financial sector retreated 0.09% as Bank Sohar led the red list with a fall of 1.7%. United Finance also slid 0.76%.
On the other hand, the services sector rose 0.01%, backed by an increase of 10% in Port Services Corp, which topped the green list.
Oman and Emirates Investment Holding led the trading activity with a volume of 598,700 shares exchanged at OMR 4.37 million.
