Kuwait – Mubasher: Warba Bank has postponed the ordinary general meeting to 29 September, due to lack of quorum.

The bank’s shareholders will consider the issuance of sukuk and financing tools that are in compliance with the Islamic law as well as the Islamic banks’ capital adequacy ratio (CAR), according to a bourse statement issued Sunday.

On 18 July, the board of Warba Bank had agreed on issuing a maximum of $250 million sukuk to promote the capital.
