Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market ended Sunday’s trading in green as its benchmark MSM 30 grew by 0.05% or 2.69 points to the level of 5,768.84 points.

Trading volume increased to 15.9 million shares from 13.09 million shares exchanged on Thursday, while turnover decreased to OMR 2.03 million from OMR 2.52 million.

The financial sector advanced 0.21% as Al Madina Takaful rose by 4.29% and Bank Nizwa leapt 1.32%. The latter made the highest trading activity with a volume of 9.4 million shares exchanged at OMR 724,100.

The industrial sector also rose by 0.08% as National Detergent topped gainers by adding 4.76%, while the services sector declined 0.08% as Port Services Corp led the red list with a fall of 4.51%.
