Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Sunday’s session up 0.08% or 4.43 points to 5,410.23 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices also gained 0.49% and 0.48% respectively.
KSE’s turnover shrank 33.1% to KWD 5.89 million, while the trading volume decreased 24% to 58.86 million shares.
The consumer goods topped four gainer by a rise of 0.82%, on the back of Americana which gained 0.8%
Meanwhile, the technology sector led seven decliners by a fall of 0.73%, dragged by Hayat which lost 5.7%.
Equipment Holding was the top winner by leveling up 5.7% to 46.5 fils, while Ajwan headed the losers by a 6% drop to 39 fils.
Investments was the most active stock on which 6.4 million shares were traded through 169 transactions at a value of nearly KWD 741,300. The stock retreated 5.3%.
