Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Sunday’s session rising by 0.22% or 22 points to the level of 10,435.17 points.
The index was backed by the rise in some blue chips as Industries Qatar grew by 1.75%, QIB leapt 1.45%, Ezdan advanced 1.1% and Commercial Bank of Qatar increased 0.39%.
Trading volume declined 41.5% to 3.8 million shares from 6.5 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also decreased 38% to QAR 178.1 million from QAR 286.8 million.
The insurance sector, telecom and banking sectors declined by 0.82%, 0.6% and 0.43% respectively, while the real estate and industrial sectors rose by 0.66% and 0.87% respectively.
