Oil prices edge up in early trade
current technical levels that open the door for excessive purchases

By Mahmoud Gamal

Mubasher: Oil prices registered a slight increase in Wednesday's early trades before OPEC reveals the outcome of its informal talks in Algeria over a cut deal.

By 4:32am GMT, WTI crude futures inched up 7 cents to $44.74 per barrel, while US WTI was higher 14 cents to $46.66 a barrel.

Traders are expected to cautiously step into the market due to speculations on OPEC meeting's dead end and the current technical levels that open the door for excessive purchases, said market analyst Hossam Al-Khwnki.
