Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market ended Thursday’s session rising by 0.04% to the level of 5,726.20 points.

Trading volume reached 15.39 million shares exchanged at OMR 3.56 million through 748 transactions, compared to 10.26 million shares exchanged on Wednesday at OMR 2.59 million.

The industrial sector was the best performer after rising by 0.35%, backed by the rise in Oman Fisheries and Gulf International Chemicals by 1.59% and 1.14% respectively.

The financial sector also grew by 0.05% as Bank Muscat and HSBC Oman rose by 1% for each.

On the other hand, the services sector fell by 0.03%.
