Cairo – Mubasher: The civil aviation minister decided suspending the issuance of flight tickets which start and ends outside Egypt starting from 5 October for a one-year period.

"It was noticeable lately that sales levels of some travel agents exceeded the normal rates for selling tickets start and ends outside Egypt and for airlines do not pass by any point inside the country," Sherief Fathy added.

He noted that these sales intended to make the best use of the difference in exchange rate of US dollar between the official price and the black market, which harm the domestic economy," Fathy said.

The minister assured that the decision will be reviewed periodically.
