Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed on mixed note on Sunday, as the benchmark index EGX30 inched down 0.04% or 3 points to close at 8,274.15 points.

The small and medium caps index EGX70 went up 0.01% to 335.47 points, while the broader index EGX100 gained 0.22% to 793.38 points.

On other hand, the equal weighted index EGX50 slide 0.52% to 1,264.65 points.

Foreign and Arab investors ended as net sellers with EGP 40.86 million and EGP 4.29 million respectively, while local investors ended as net buyers with EGP 45.15 million.

Institutions ended as net sellers with EGP 39.95 million, while retail investors ended as net buyers.

The market witnessed 133.3 million shares changed hands worth EGP 369.7 million.

The market capitalization shed nearly EGP1.03 billion reaching EGP 407.6 billion.

The stocks of Commercial International Bank (CIB) largest constitute of EGX30 went down 0.67% to EGP 51.7 with trading value amount to EGP 20 million.
