Cairo – Mubasher: Unilever Global Company announced inaugurating a new detergent plant with total investments worth EGP 220 million (EURO 22 million), according to a press release.

The factory will apply highly effective technology to reduce energy and water consumption as well as Carbon emissions.

Meanwhile, the investment authority said In a separate statement that Unilever pumped EGP 192 million in the new project.

The factory will annually produce 120,000 tons that will be exported to GCC countries, Kenya and Ethiopia to meet the local market needs, the investment authority added.
