Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange finished Tuesday on a stronger note, backed by Arab and foreign purchases.

The benchmark index EGX30 gained 33 points, or 0.40%, to level up at 8,261.14 points.

The small and mid-cap EGX70 inched up 0.08% to 333.33 points.

The broader index EGX100 and the equal-weighted index EGX50 rose to 793.23 points and 1,272.08 points, respectively.

Arab and foreign traders were net buyers by EGP 67.4 million and EGP 20.3 million correspondingly, while nationals were net sellers by EGP 87.7 million.

Trading value reached EGP 625 million after 165.2 million shares were traded in 20,000 transactions.

Market capitalization added EGP 835 million to close at EGP 406.07 billion.

The top gainers were Atlas for Land Reclamation with a rise of 9.52%, while TransOceans Tours headed the losers with a 20% slide.
