Mubasher: Oman’s budget deficit reached OMR 4.37 billion during January – August, higher 63% year-on-year from OMR 2.68 billion, said the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

The country’s total revenue declined by 28.3% year-over-year to OMR 4.27 billion from OMR 5.95 billion .

The Sultanate’s gas revenues fell 43.6% to OMR 2.13 billion during the same period.

Total public expenditure retreated to OMR 7.43 billion, lower 5% from OMR 7.83 billion for the year-ago period.
