Mubasher: The GCC stock markets are expected to continue their mixed performance on Thursday in line with the decreasing turnover and investors’ weak activity to purchase. 

Sentiments of the GCC investors are still weak due to the unclear vision of the quarterly financials for leading companies, technical analyst Ibrahim Al-Filkawy said.

Capital markets are lacking to positive news which may encourage them to see an upward performance as well as making them less attached to external factors, namely oil prices which have become the only director of the markets, capital market analyst Mohamad Al-Shimry said.

The Q3 financial statements may spread positivity among investors if they match expectations, he noted.
