Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Thursday’s trading with a rise of 0.29% or 3.27 points to the level of 1,148.16 points.

Trading volume rose to 1.15 million shares from 304,000 shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also increased to BHD 832,170 from BHD 49,110.

The investment sector rose by 0.76% as Investcorp led the green list with a growth of 6.58%, while Al Baraka Group declined 1.03%.

The banks sector leapt 0.2% due to an increase of 1.44% in National Bank of Bahrain, while Bahrain Islamic Bank topped the red list with a 4.2% fall.
