Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Thursday’s session in the red zone, dragged by six sectors that were topped by the telecom and banks.

KSE’s benchmark index retreated 0.11% or 5.85 points to reach 5,397.85 points. Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled down 0.42% and 0.51%.

Liquidity shrank 59.4% to KWD 13.79 million after trading volume decreased 36% to 105.45 million shares.

The telecom sector topped six decliners with 1.54%, dragged by Zain which lost 2.4%.

KSE’s banks sector went down 0.48% on the drop of Warba which fell by 2%.

Meanwhile, the consumer goods led four decliners with 0.71%.

Investors was the most active stock on which 13.18 million shares were traded at a value of about KWD 275,060. The stock settled at 20.5 fils.

Zain recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 2.77 million after 6.67 million shares. The stock fell 2.4% to reach 410 fils.
