Kuwait – Mubasher: Osos Holding Group Co reported a growth of 170.6% in profits during the third quarter of 2016 in comparison with the same quarter a year ago.

Earnings increased to about KWD 251,220 ($824,940) in Q3-16 from nearly KWD 92,850 ($304,900) in Q3-15, the company said in a bourse filing issued on Tuesday.

Osos achieved profits worth KWD 5.11 million in the first nine months this year, 193.7% higher from KWD 1.74 million in the same period of 2015.

The increase in earnings is due to profits achieved from the sale of subsidiaries, Osos clarified.
