Cairo – Mubasher: Banque du Caire said the value of investment in the new high-interest saving certificates reached EGP 12 billion, according to Mounir El Zahid, Chairman.

Earlier, Banque du Caire, National Bank of Egypt and Banque du Misr launched new saving certificates with interest rates of 16% and 20%. Before these vessels, the highest interest rate offered stood at 12.5% spanning all banks and all saving vessels.

Banque du Caire’s current portfolio of Small and Medium caps projects stands at EGP 3 billion, El Zahid told Mubasher on the sideline of banking conference.
