Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index rose at Tuesday’s open by 0.15% or 14.88 points to the level of 9,797.71 points.

Trading volume reached 6.28 million shares exchanged at QAR 158.6 million through 3,012 transactions.

The real estate sector leapt 0.43% as Ezdan Holding advanced 1.09%, the industrial sector grew 0.55% due to an increase of 0.95% in Gulf International, the telecom sector rose 0.68% as Ooredoo levelled up 0.66%.

On the other hand, the banking sector declined 0.25%, dragged by a 3.74% fall in Commercial Bank of Qatar, and the transportation sector retreated 0.49% as Gulf Warehousing decreased 5.06%.
