Mubasher: Jordan Emirates Insurance Company’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) approved to reduce the capital by JOD 2 million from JOD 6 million to JOD 4 million.

The company said that it has cut its capital in order to offset accumulated losses, according to a bourse filing released on Thursday.

The EGM also amended some articles in the company’s statute concerning the capital.

The stock was last traded on 8 November when it reached JOD 0.63%.
