Abu Dhabi - Mubahser: The CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Rashed Al Blooshi, said on Wednesday that foreign and institutional investments at ADX totalled AED 7.9 billion by the end of November 2016.

Al Blooshi added in an official statement that the net flow of foreign investments in the last six months reached almost AED 850 million.

Institutional investments from January to November reached AED 4.6 billion, while foreign investments amounted to AED 3.3 billion, according to the statement.

Non-Arab foreign investors dominated foreign investments in ADX with nearly AED 3.1 billion, while Arab and Gulf investors registered AED 200 million in the eleven-month period.

"The upgrade of the ADX on the MSCI index has helped in globally marketing the exchange by introducing it to a new group of investors, most of who are institutional investors," added Al Blooshi.
