Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a bullish performance in Sunday’ early trades.

The general index rose 0.72% or 72.12 points to reach 10,126.12 points by 10:05am Qatari time.

Qatar National Bank (QNB) grew 0.72%, followed by Ezdan Holding Group, Industries Qatar and Masraf Al Rayan which climbed 1.3%, 1.37% and 1.42% respectively.

The real estate sector topped gainers with a 1.08% rise, followed by the insurance, industrial, and consumer goods and services sectors at 0.91%, 0.88% and 0.7% respectively.

The banks sector went up 0.54% as Islamic Holding Group increased 3.07%.

On the flipside, the transportation sector fell 0.14% as Gulf Warehousing Co. was the worst performer with a 0.03% decline.

The market saw trading of 2.04 million shares through 745 transactions, with a turnover of QAR 63.27 million.
